Guide to the geology of Pune

In this project, we document the simplified geology of the Deccan Volcanic Province in and around Pune city. We identify and document outcrops, and map the lateral extent and thicknesses of different lava flows. Twelve different hills were mapped as part of this exercise, most of which were located in the western part of Pune.

This project is part of an undergraduate course titled "Mapping the City" in the Environmental Studies program at FLAME University.
